bismillah

Man kana yureedu hartha alakhirati nazid lahu fee harthihi waman kana yureedu hartha a(l)ddunya nutihi minha wama lahu fee alakhirati min naseeb(in)

Whosoever seeks the tillage of the Hereafter, to him We-SWT shall give increase in his tillage; and whosoever seeks the tillage of this world. We-SWT shall give him somewhat thereof, and in the Hereafter his shall be no portion.

(42:20)

Am lahum shurakao sharaAAoo lahum mina a(l)ddeeni ma lam yathan bihi Allahu walawla kalimatu alfasli laqudiya baynahum wainna a(l)ththalimeena lahum AAathabun aleem(un)

Have they associate-gods who have instituted for them a religion which Allah-SWT has not approved? And had there not been a decisive word, the affair would have been judged between them. And verily the ungodly! Theirs shall be afflictive torment.     (42:21)

Tara a(l)ththalimeena mushfiqeena mimma kasaboo wahuwa waqiAAun bihim wa(a)llatheena amanoo waAAamiloo a(l)ssalihati fee rawdati aljannati lahum ma yashaoona AAinda rabbihim thalika huwa alfadlu alkabeer(u)

You-SW shall see the ungodly fearful on account of what they have earned, and it is sure to befall them. And those who believe and work righteous deeds will be in meadows of the Gardens. Theirs will be whatsoever they desire with their Rabb-SWT That! That is the supreme grace.

(42:22)

Thalika allathee yubashshiru Allahu AAibadahu allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo a(l)ssalihati qul la asalukum AAalayhi ajran illa almawaddata fee alqurba waman yaqtarif hasanatan nazid lahu feeha husnan inna Allaha ghafoorun shakoor(un)

That is the glad tidings Allah-SWT gives to His-SWT bondmen who believe and work righteous deeds. Say you-SW: I ask of you no wage for that save affection in respect of kinship. And whosoever does a good deed We-SWT shall increase for him good in respect thereof; verily Allah-SWT is Forgiving, Appreciative.

(42:23)

Am yaqooloona iftara AAala Allahi kathiban fain yashai Allahu yakhtim AAala qalbika wayamhu Allahu albatila wayuhiqqu alhaqqa bikalimatihi innahu AAaleemun bithati a(l)ssudoor(i)

So they say; He-SW has fabricated a lie concerning Allah-SWT ? Now if Allah-SWT willed He-SWT could seal your-SW heart; and Allah-SWT abolishes falsehood and establishes truth by His-SWT Words, Verily He-SWT is the Knower of what is in the breasts.

(42:24)

Wahuwa allathee yaqbalu a(l)ttawbata AAan AAibadihi wayaAAfoo AAani a(l)ssayyiati wayaAAlamu ma tafAAaloon(a)

And He-SWT it is Who-SWT accepts repentance from His-SWT bondmen, and pardons evil deeds and knows what you do.

(42:25)

Wayastajeebu allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo a(l)ssalihati wayazeeduhum min fadlihi wa(a)lkafiroona lahum AAathabun shaded(un)

He-SWT answers those who believe and work righteous deeds and increases to them of His-SWT Grace. And the infidels! Theirs shall be a severe torment.

(42:26)

Walaw basata Allahu a(l)rrizqa liAAibadihi labaghaw fee alardi walakin yunazzilu biqadarin ma yashao innahu biAAibadihi khabeerun baser(un)

And had Allah-SWT expanded the provision for His-SWT bondmen they surely would have rebelled in the earth, but He-SWT sends down by measure as He-SWT wills. Verily He-SWT is in respect of His-SWT bondmen, the Aware, the Beholder.

(42:27)

Wahuwa allathee yunazzilu alghaytha min baAAdi ma qanatoo wayanshuru rahmatahu wahuwa alwaliyyu alhameed(u)

And He-SWT it is Who-SWT sends down the rain after men have despaired, and spreads abroad His-SWT Mercy and He-SWT is the Patron, the Praiseworthy.

(42:28)

Wamin ayatihi khalqu a(l)ssamawati wa(a)lardi wama baththa feehima min dabbatin wahuwa AAala jamAAihim itha yashao qadeer(un)

And of His-SWT Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and of the moving creatures which He-SWT has dispersed in both. And He-SWT is Potent over their assembling whenever He-SWT will.

(42:29)

In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
SECRETS OF REVELATION:

Anyone who seeks the results of his endeavour in the Akhirah will be rewarded beyond expectations. And anyone who strives for temporal gains does get some share. It is not necessary that he gets exactly what he had desired but only what is ordained for him. These mundane blessings are also available to the seeker of the Akhirah, but the one who ignores Akhirah and purely seeks the worldly fails to fulfil all his desires and loses Akhirah too, for having no belief in it. In other words, a believer always works in pursuit of Akhirah, within the bounds of obedience, while a non believer aims at usurping all that he can, though he cannot possibly do it in this world, and he has no share in the Akhirah.

Have these infidels discovered someone at par with Allah-SWT or found a partner with Him-SWT who has sent a totally different religion for them? And when there is no god but Allaah-SWT . Who-SWT has no partners, how did they discover a religion besides Islam. Their crime is so grave that had Allaah-SWT not preordained a Day for Reckoning, they would have been dealt with right away. A painful doom obviously awaits them. O' Reader-SW! On the eve of reckoning, you-SW will see them terrified by the impending punishment but they will not be able to escape. At the same time the practising believers will be rejoicing, they will be admitted in the Jannah and shall avail whatever they desire, indeed a great reward.

The Holy Prophet-SW may tell them that he-SW asks no wages for his-SW propagation of Din. It is for their betterment as well as for the entire mankind. However, he-SW does expect regard for his-SW kinship with them, whereby they should refrain from his-SW persecution, listen carefully to and ponder over what he-SW says. Then they are at liberty to accept or reject his-SW Message as he-SW does not intend to impose it on them.

Regard for Kinship

The Arabs were a tribal society and everyone enjoyed the protection of his tribe, without which life was inconceivable. According to Hadhrat ibn 'Abbas-RAU, by virtue of the Holy Prophet-SW lineage, his-SW family ties extended to all branches of the Quraish tribe. Therefore, he-SW was instructed to tell the Quraish that he-SW demanded no wages from them for the propagation of his-SW mission but did expect regard on account of kinship, so they must let him-SW live in peace and protect him-SW (Ruh al Ma'ani) Ibn Jareer and other Commentators further explain the stance by quoting the Holy Prophet-SW: "O’ my nation! If you refuse to follow me, at least protect me on account of kinship, lest those not related to me by blood embrace Islam and supersede you in protecting and helping me.

Another report quotes ibn 'Abbas-RAU that when asked the Holy Prophet-SW said that this Ayah enjoined love for Hadhrat Ali-RAU, Fatimah-RAU and their children. However, this has been declared weak in Durr-e-Manthur by Allama Sayuti-RUA and in Takhreej-e-Ahadith by Hafiz ibn-e-Hajr-RUA. None of the Prophets-AS of Allah-SWT ever demanded any wages for their Messengership, let alone that it be expected of the Holy Prophet-SW. So the consensus of Ummah is on the interpretation given earlier. This brief discussion by no means infers that the reverence for the household of the Holy Prophet-SW is of no significance. Rather, the love of his-SW household (Ahl-e-Bait) and of his-SW true followers (Al-e-Rasul-SW) is a part of faith. And Al-e-Rasul includes the entire Ummah; the more a person enjoys nearness to him-SW the more he is held in high esteem by the believers. The term Ahl-e-Bait refers to the noble wives of the Holy Prophet-SW and his-SW children who are all dear to him-SW commensurate to their respective status. Love for them is indeed a part of faith. And why should it not be, when it is with reference to the Holy Prophet-SW. Even today someone enjoying a link with the noble lineage of the Holy Prophet-SW deserves to be deeply respected except (Allah-SWT forbid) where he may have renounced Islam.

And whoever acts piously will be rewarded manifold as Allah-SWT is Forgiving and appreciates good deeds. These deniers also accuse the Holy Prophet-SW of fabricating a lie on Allah-SWT by claiming to receive revelations. How foolish is this allegation! Can't they see how the revelations continue to expound the realities supported by a trove of logical evidence? Had he-SW made a false claim Allah-SWT would have sealed his-SW heart, as is with every impostor who utters nonsense thereafter. So the truth is distinguished from falsehood, for Allah-SWT always eradicates falsehood and never allows it to prevail. He-SWT establishes the truth with evidence and is well Aware of the very secrets of the hearts including that of the Holy Prophet-SW which is a source of mercy for the entire universe. He-SWT is also Aware of the spite harboured by the deniers yet accepts the repentance and if anyone denounces denial and disobedience from the core of his heart, He-SWT overlooks his past sins. He-SWT cannot be deceived by a casual expression of penitence, being Aware of people's doings. To take Shahadah and reform conduct is indeed true repentance. Of course, the deniers will be severely punished.

Had Allah-SWT made the provisions abundant for everyone it would have created mischief. This earthly abode is a station of both virtue and vice and if everyone was to avail every bounty, nobody would care for or show respect to others, thereby disrupting the entire system. Therefore, Allah-SWT correctly dispenses the provisions. To some He-SWT gives affluence, to others the power and ability to work. Some are equipped with knowledge, and others given various blessings. Thus the need for co-existence promotes a human society-He-SWT is Aware of His-SWT bondmen and is watching over them. He-SWT pours down rain for each and every particle of the soil and plantation and often when people begin to lose hope. He-SWT restores life to their tilth. He-SWT is the Protector of everyone and in Worthy of all Praise. A token of His-SWT Magnificence may be seen in the creation of the heavens and earth and whatever lies therein, all for sustenance of life including the seasons. The earth carries a world of evidence within itself. And He-SWT Who-SWT has created and spread them out can gather back whenever He-SWT so chooses.
